Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Horkos Audit processes, why it processes it, and the limits of the service.

What We Collect

Horkos Audit analyzes public domains, DNS records, headers, certificates, and other publicly accessible website metadata that you ask the service to inspect. We do not require an account for core usage, and we do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through the audit flow.

We may process basic technical request data such as IP address, user agent, timestamps, and rate-limit events to operate the service, prevent abuse, and maintain reliability.

How We Use Data

We use the information processed through the service to generate audit results, improve performance, monitor abuse, and maintain the security of the application. Public website analysis results may be transiently cached to speed up repeated requests.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use submitted domains as confidential input, and users should only analyze systems they are authorized to review or information that is already public on the open web.

Third-Party Services

The application may request public data from third-party infrastructure, certificate, DNS, or security sources in order to produce audit results. Those providers may log requests according to their own policies.

External links, embedded assets, and open-source dependencies are governed by their respective terms and privacy practices.

Retention and Security

We retain only the technical data reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the service. Cached analysis data and operational logs may be stored for limited periods based on infrastructure needs.

No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to reduce unauthorized access, misuse, and service abuse.

Your Responsibility

Do not submit confidential, private, or unlawful targets. Horkos Audit is designed for public-facing website and domain analysis, not for covert surveillance, credential harvesting, or unauthorized access attempts.

If you believe content or analysis generated by the service affects you unfairly, contact the maintainer with the relevant details so the issue can be reviewed.
